50 Shades of Gray

Dec 3, 2015 | No Responses

Depending on the homes style and décor scheme, most design experts find they can count on one or two colours for brilliant results.  A neutral palette is the perfect canvas to highlight your new homes features. Consider combining several shades of grey, the new neutral to add texture and depth to your home. A little bit of grey can go a long way to outline your windows or to frame your doors? Don’t be afraid to combine grey with bold colours. When the bold colours are used to define a space in a dramatic way such as the paint on the walls of a big room, the grey softens the impact of the bold colour and creates a stylish inviting space.

Some of Benjamin Moore’s top gray choices are Reverse Pewter HC-172 a perfect choice for an open concept floor plan. Another timeless favourite of designers is Cumulus Cloud 1550.

Don’t be afraid to use grey for your exterior. Grey front doors look dramatic especially when paired up with lighter exterior facades.
